Dear Parents and Students,

We had a very busy and productive week this week! Students worked hard on their benchmark testing! There will not be a parent letter next week due to our short week.

NEXT WEEK:

We will not have school on Monday due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day! We will have an early release on Thursday at NOON for a School Record’s Day! We will not have school on Friday due to a School Record’s Day!

COMING UP: Join us for Family Literacy Night on Thursday, January 25th from 6:00-7:00 for Cocoa and Books!

Lunch time ukulele club will be starting with Miss Miller and Mrs. O’Connor!

THIS WEEK:

Math: Students continued to learn algebra.

Reading: Students worked with the short story, “Ecology for Kids” and discussed why it is important to be informed about what is happening in our world. Students took a test over this week’s story on Friday. Students will not have a reading test next week due to the short week.

Spelling: Students took a test over this week’s words, which changed the final y to an i. Students will not have a test next week.

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Miss Miller
